Question Do you use Firefox or Internet Explorer?

We obviously all use a web browser - but which do you primarily use?

Generally, I only use Firefox and most of TWF is designed using Firefox to view - so essentially you could say 'designed for Firefox'.

Although it should display and work well in Internet Explorer, there are some aspects which display much better under Firefox "out of the box"

For any that have not yet tried or used Firefox I recommend you do. It runs perfectly alongside of Internet Explorer so you can still use that at anytime or go back if you find Firefox is not for you.

You can download Firefox from here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/

If you use a different browser, you can add it in to the poll by clicking "Add Write-In Vote"

Been using FFx for 2 years. Much less security issues. Or seems so at least - definately no nerdy types here.

That's the aim, but at times when there is a difference, it will be firefox which is showing what I intended.

Also, Firefox is much safer amd has many fewer vulnerabilities when it comes to Spyware and the like... And no, they aren't paying me commission

I use them both. On my laptop which is company issue I only use IE because I'm prohibited from downloading anything else. I'll have to check with my IT department in the morning and see if I can upload it like TEF.

On my desktop I have both, I find it much easier to open a new tab in IE and I like the quick tabs too. Pop ups seem to be a thing of the past in either one and I don't have spyware/virus issues. I don't see a difference in speed between the two and I really don't care about open source. I used firefox more before IE 7.0 came out. If I had to choose 1 I'd go with IE because of the tabs. Other than that I'd say they are equal.

I originally vote both equally but after reading the question I changed to IE because I'm mostly on my laptop.

Cool feature Coach, change your vote. Can a non member change their vote too?

IE7 has its own popup blocker (built in google popup blocker i think)
its tabbed browsing is smoother and easier to control. its come a long way from IE4, 5 & 6.. kudo's to the developers that stole the features from Mozilla
Firefox has its place especially if you want to start customising things a little but i think IE7 as a browser is better.

    Similar to Larry...
    IE dinosaur at work.
Used Firefox on my old desktop, but since I got my laptop with IE7, haven't bothered downloading Firefox.
In fact this just reminded me to get round to it - it's nice to have the choice!

Tried FX but my wife who has geek tendencies said IE is better, even though i thought, FX was easier for me.
