Some stuff to look forward to in 2008 at TWF

Autographed and Framed Wallabies RWC 2007 Jumper

Details available soon about how you can buy tickets to win a fully autographed Wallabies Jumper (possibly the only one in existance) as it also features Cameron Shepherds moniker as he joined the squad after they left Australaia which was when the original jumper was signed. In fact when Cam signed it down at the Superstore I believe he said something along the lines of "where the hell did you get that from"! A big thanks to Travelling Gerry for organisng the jumper via ex Wallabies Coach Knuckles (see Knuckles did do something good for the Force during the RWC!), Seldom for getting Cams moniker and Captured Ideas again for the framing.

Tickets will only be avaialble to registered TWF members and there will only be a limited amount available. The jumper will be drawn once all tickets have been sold.

The one we had last year raised $2000!

    The 2nd TWF Quiz Night

After the huge night we had in 2006 we will again be holding a Quiz Night for TWF Members at the Leederville Sporting Club again this year.

Pencil in Saturday 10 May 2008 for the TWF Quiz Night.

More details soon, so start putting your teams togther!

    TWF Touch Rugby Competition

Due to bad weather it was cancelled last year. This will probably take place toward the end of the year around Spring Tour time when the weather is more consistant.

    Any Other Ideas?

Have you got any other ideas for TWF activities or would you like help out orgainising some of these events, please let us know.

Good Idea mate and in the mean time if you like an occasional 9 holes there is a group from which also has a few TWF members amongst it that play nine holes every Wednesday afternoon during daylight savings at Royal Wembley.

Tee Off is 3.30pm so be there by 3.15, then back to to do the scores and refresh.

Since the Force will finish behind the Tahs perhaps a counseling service of some sort will be required?

A Welcome to the new season function for Members at :JBS: prior to the Crusaders match perhaps the Friday or Saturday Afternoon/Night so that would make it the 7th or 8th March 2008.

A great way to get to know members and plan for pre or post drinks after home matches through out the coming season.

Are you sure? Coincidentally, it did rain on the afternoon/evening in question, but I reckon apathy, lethargy and the dangerous proximity of may also have had something to do with it!!!
