    Not long. When another site on the net links to one of the posts or threads on TWF a "linkback" gets added to the bottom of the thread which in turn points to the page on the other site that points at TWF.

    It allows us to see who is looking at our posts/threads and may also help with getting TWF mentioned higher up in Google/Yahoo etc
