Pocock out of Force clash with Blues

March 14, 2008 WESTERN Force have been dealt a blow on the eve of their Super 14 clash with the Blues in New Zealand, with teenage backrower David Pocock ruled out with a hamstring strain.

Having carried the injury since his man-of-the-match performance in the loss to the Crusaders last week, Pocock was scratched by coach John Mitchell following the captain's run this morning.

The 19-year-old will be replaced by Matt Hodgson.
