Mate welcome to the real world of Rugby.
6th grade Rugby is made for people like you.
There certain clubs who have special programs to introduce anyone to Rugby.
One club has 2x52 year old players and 5 guys brand new off the shelf in their sixth grade and they competed in the finals last year!
This year another 6 "new to Rugby guys" have signed up for the chance of a fun life time.
If your prepared to party you can play!
If want to know more PM me...

Dont take on anything until you are fully prepaired.
Lack of drive will only see your demise
No 8 your right on there as you know i finished my playing with the Joondalup Brothers at the age of 50yrs, i was a tight head prop and played that position for 42 yrs, six of those years playing in the English Premier (Nottingham)although at the end i was more of a back some would say. But you are never to old and even now i miss playing the game a lot. So Dramoth there is still hope for you yet.
I was born in Wollongong to an Australian father and an Indonesian mother (although my roots are a mixture of English, Indonesian, Chinese and Irish) and the whole family pretty much inherited the game from my dad. He played lower grade rugby for Gordon and Eastern Suburbs and played socially all over the place, as well as being involved with the administration of rugby and rugby league clubs in country NSW. He even managed to play while working in Jakarta, which is where he met my mum (although it was nearly two years before they actually hooked up). Personally, I played for a few years with ARKs and Curtin University and have followed the game since primary school.
