your thoughts on The blue crew

Personally, I have no objection to the Blue Crew.

First, I'm too far to get irritated.

Second, they are dumped in a section that typically would be empty anyway so atleast it "fills out" the stadium.

Third, from my vantage point its good to see the "blue" and when they wave their clappers or whatever around, such as when the opposition is going for a kick, it adds to the atmosphere.

Fourth and final, you do get clueless people however, this is an opportunity for them to get clued up. I'm sure there will be atleast one or two after a game such as the crusaders game who go home and say "wow" and have nothing but positives to say about a game they knew nothing or little about.

They probably could, maybe to a local rugby club or a kids charity like was mentioned before.

The thing that grinds my gears most (and i believe jess touched on this) is the fact that they seem to get most of the recognition in regards to be loyal supporters (espeacially by the fox sports crew) when they didn't even pay for a seat at the game. I'll go one step further and say they probably don't even own a jersey or any other merchandise other then the blue crew gear that they got for free

I suppose most of you went to the game tonight. But for those watching at home on TV did you notice the lack of Fox showing the Blue Crew tonight??? Even after the winning try they didn't show them one bit. Maybe someone there is reading our forum!!!!

I know im going to get groaned at but fair dinkum you are a bunch of whingers. Yeah there probably annoying but they bring some atmosphere to the game maybe even help the team get up. It would look like some people hate them just because they get on tv.

Ummmm no, we generally have a problem with them because their freeloaders who seem to want a cheap night out on the piss then i night watching a quality game of Rugby. Like we said give the tickets to a more deserving bunch like a kids charity or a local junior rugby club.

They didn't start one mexican wave last night - no one seemed to be rude - they did create heaps of noise and it was in step with the game -didn't see some of them creeping away to watch the game this week either - yeap - I'd say the emails worked well done whoever - the balance worked well last night

Although towards the end of the match the commentators called the entire crowd the blue crew

Also after sheps big spiral the commentator stated that most force fans were AFL supporters aswell being west australian and all!!!

I dont want this to sound like I am taking or seeking credit for other peoples thoughts or ideas.

I had the opportunity to pass this thread along to some interested parties, and a discussion was held.

I was asked to pass on the following information;

First up there is a list of people who have been banned from the Blue Crew due to behavioural issues,
there are people who are there to keep an eye on the Crew,

notes have been taken as to suggestions that have been provided here and they will be taken on board, tho its unlikely that will happen before the end of this season due to arrangements already in place.

I have been asked to pass on thanks to all who provided thoughts and suggestions. People do take notice of this.

I'm wondering if those "code of conduct" flyers taped to our seats were as a result of either general or blue crew misbehaviour. Did everyone else get these?
