Well, it is a change of direction - going from two decision makers to two centres. Could be a risk in that it puts all the responsibility on Giteau (making him near irreplaceable and a BIG target), but it is nice to see Spanner back at 12.

Gits is always a target but he will be fine, he has enough skilled players around him to know what to do, he might just need to give them a little direction at times. Sharpie will handle the forwards tremendously well and all will be goooooood!

but with two hard ball runners in the centres, imagine what could be achieved with one ducking on the inside run every now and again!

You could dummy a dropback pass to spanner on the runaround and hit the ball up with Crossy on your shoulder....there's one play that could easliy take half of World rugbyout of the equation with Nicky standing all alone on the wing to finish it off!

Positive change as i think cumming will match habana better speed wise and spanner is just much more useful and has such an impact in centres...lets hope he breaks there lines and tightens up the defence!

We'll be pretty much looking up shit creek if anything happens to Gits. A quick look at the bench and we've got no other fly/playmaker. I'm sure I read somewhere that Chucky is a flyhalf-wannabe but with the little S14 exposure he's had (not even at 10), it will be a big ask. Not sure who else can fill in that spot..the little I've seen of Josh pretty much tells me he is your typical centre so not sure he can fill in. Oh dear..
