Even with the modified ELV's, there is no excuse for bad behaviour.
I agree with most of what you say. Except for the deliberate knock-down/out laws. They are ridiculous. If they're not then intercepts and running the ball to touch deliberately should also be illegal.

Agree re running the ball to touch, since running it to touch is legal, but tapping it to touch isn't. However running the ball dead is just as illegal as tapping it dead, and going for an intercept tapping the ball up is legal as long as the ref percieves it as an attempt to keep the ball in play, not kill the play!

It is a sucky thing - but in all honesty - if you can't back yourself to get out of trouble, then taking the soft option (deliberately knocking a ball down) is weak. Back yourself, go for the intercept!

    Good on ya Gits..
    ABSOLUTELY!

The security fool was trying to get Gits off when he was in front of me and I asked Gits for a photo & a signature and I had a quick chat. He is an absolute champ!

That security guard was a tool! Its rude enough to turn the lights off but rushing the players off is just bluntly obnoxious in my opinion. Fair enough if they want to go, but if that's the case they will go under their own steam.

i'd love to see them try and MAKE them leave the field.
all one of them would have to do is turn around and the little rent a cop thing would scurry away that fast.
i'm bringing my hat and my marker fo sure this week!
