It's only a fun night, no huge dollars involved, the bowlo can handle the crowd, and more money in is (presumably), better than less money in, for both TWF and the Bowlo.
I've often spent evenings making small talk with people I don't know so well, and most of us will be doing that anyway, even if we have been on TWF for a while.

Ring Ins - wanted to give the 1500 or so TWFers a chance first. Would be a shame ofr a table of strangers to walk away with the $5000 first prize now wouldn't it.
