Holmes set to miss three matches

Wallabies prop Greg Holmes is set to miss three Super 14 matches for the Queensland Reds after undergoing knee surgery.
Holmes suffered discomfort following the Reds' last match against South African team the Cheetahs on April 5 and scans revealed displaced bone behind the knee.
Fellow Wallaby Rodney Blake or Ben Coutts could replace Holmes in the starting line-up for the game against the Western Force in Brisbane on Friday.
Reds captain Sam Cordingley will undergo a fitness test on his injured calf today.

Whats up with the Reds? They are falling apart. Holmes, McMeniman, Cordingley and Latham (Digby too?) all out for the Force match. I'm sure it'll be a tough match but really four of the big danger players are all out. Now James Horwill and Leroy Houston are doing well in the pack but the Force have got to be targetting this one for five points or we really don't deserve to be in the finals.
