its devastating for the Reds and Australia.. He has confirmed he has pretty much played his last game for Australia unless he has a miracle recovery.

Its a sad way to see such a great servant of the game leave, someone as passionate as Latham deserves his swansong match.

It's a real shame he ends this way, he certainly earnt better.
Regarding the Wallabies though, it just brings the development of our 2011 Fullbacks forward that extra year.
I doubt he would have played anyway being out of S14 and it is only one match for the Reds (apart from missing the chance to farewell him).
