KQ KQ KQ, thats not the question that needs answering. Tahs have beaten the Saders twice in the last 2 (pre) seasons but that hardly counts. There is an obvious question in return but it would gain me nothing in asking it of you as I already know the answer (as you would too ).

In the end, putting them (Saders) on a pedestal will make the victory by the Tahs all the more sweeter, for Australian rugby of course.

Ok..sorry Chook and thanks for the clarification..'Saders have never lost to the Tahs..in the regular season. I hope, for my sanity, a win for the bloody Crusaders and that the other team is forgoTAHn

Ahh, but there is the point. Do you think I won't harp on about a Tah win for many many many years to come? Would that not be a pleasant thought?

Arrogance is the All Blacks greatest weakness hence why a resounding victory by the Crusaders will be much better for Australian rugby.
We need to get out of this bitch-slapped mindset.
"we don't want to upset them" PLEASE! What are we some 3rd rate rugby nation trying not to upset the self appointed gods? Look at the cabinet, there are 2 world cupsand it wasn't by accident.

Arrogance never disappears from the AB mindset anyway, if that was some sort of reason not to beat them.
The odd surprise, against the odds win vs NZ is unacceptable. It wasn't that way when we last won Bill and held the Bledisloe and needs to get back there If we've got any hope. The Brumbies didnt give 2 s**ts about who they beat last time we were top of the pile. For Australi we need to get back there regardless of who does it.

Question for the Tahs supporters - who would you be supporting if/when the youth comes through and it is the Reds?

Well, I thought I'd go back to 2004 for the sake of it and it's a good thing I did.
Here are the Crusaders losses (and a Draw) since the start of the '04 season which started with the last time the Waratahs beat them.

Interestingly, that was their heaviest defeat in that period, the first of their only consecutive defeats, losing the following Round to the Blues, and the first of only four home defeats.

    2004:

    Waratahs 19-43 (24 points)
    Blues 29-38 (9)
    Sharks 29-25 (4)
    Hurricanes 37-20 (17)
    Brumbies 46-38 (8) Final

    2005:

    Brumbies 32-21 (9)
    Bulls 35-20 (15)

    2006:

    Force 23-23 (Draw)
    Stormers 28-17 (11)

    2007:

    Blues 34-25 (9)
    Lions 9-3 (6)
    Sharks 27-26 (1)
    Brumbies 15-6 (9)
    Chiefs 24-30 (6)
    Bulls 27-12 (13) Semi Final

    2008:

    Chiefs 18-5 (13)
    Highlanders 14-26 (12)

SO, if you were to say to "beat" a team was for example greater than ten points (ie converted try and penalty or field goal) as opposed to just winning, then I would suggest they have been "beaten" in seven of fifty five matches (48 Rounds, 4 Semis & 3 Finals) they have appeared in since your last victory in Round 1, S12 '04.

An interesting pattern I noticed with the matches following a Crusaders defeat, on average they beat the living suitcase out of the next three or four opponents, with only the one consecutive loss mentioned above!

your so bitter! just support the Tahs, were not asking you to become members! we dont want you to! were just asking that you get behind the greatest team int he country so we can bring home the cup!

it will be easier when gits is in the Tahs in 09 so you have a bit more to relate to!
