Horwill learns to separate anger from aggro

THERE is a huge difference between rising to the challenge and rising to the bait and new Wallabies second-rower James Horwill appears to have learned to distinguish between the two.

If there is a reason why it has taken the 2m tall lineout ace almost exactly a year to add a second Test cap to the one he won against Fiji in Perth on June 9 last year, it's that Horwill couldn't be trusted not to give away expensive penalties at critical times.

It was one thing for him to play aggressively but opponents very quickly discovered it only took a playful tug on his headgear to provoke a wild response certain to catch the eye of the referee.
