We could all just put in like 5 or 10 bucks depending on how many people and cost etc...

Bit unfair to go 50/50 between tahs and force. You and chook are the only Tahs fans and there are thousands of Force supporters. Plus, most Tahs fans don't have any money.

I'll put in my money, but one stipulation. If by chance the annual Cannon Cannon game is played in South Australia, say due to a natural disaster or something, and the Force win the game, Ox and I get to keep the Cannon for the year.

Make the cannon a bombard cannon.

The two examples aren't fantastic and could be designed so they are more streamlined and attractive but basically a bombard cannon is a cannon with a short but large barrel, perfect for drinking out of....ideally a large barrel is needed but it could look unwieldy if you try to get the dimensions right if constucting a large barreled, long cannon.

50/50 will be fine, I'm sure from our 656 members we can find a group to chip in.
Ideally I'd like to keep the number of contributors reasonably low - say 5 - 10 each side ; this would ease future trophy decisions.

Top work BLR, the Bombard Cannon looks the goods, should be able to fit a decent amount of beer in it without having to ruin the scale
