Injury List ahead of Tri Nations

This article focuses on Barnes and there is no mention of Horwill which seems odd - however Lote still looks doubtful but they are hoping to get Sharpie back -

    Barnes escapes serious damage

    Greg Growden | July 7, 2008

A sense of relief enveloped Wallabies coach Robbie Deans when he was told yesterday that inside-centre Berrick Barnes should be fit for Australia's opening Tri Nations match against South Africa.

Barnes underwent scans on a sore shoulder after the Test against France on Saturday night and no structural damage was discovered. The fortnight's break between Tests is likely to give him enough time to recover for the Perth showdown.

Saw Horwill on the news last night, he said everything is OK under there, still just looks (if I may steal a phrase from today' West) "like an oyster embedded in mince"

im glad barns is ok, hes become a really great player if he hadnt been better... who would they have brought on?
good on ya sharpie! come back for our perth game
aaac at fullback- NONONONONONONONONONONO!!! no way. does he even play fullback at all? he looked to me like he was fumbling around in the dark all night and i lost all confidence when he was badly positioned and that try was open for them. pure luck they didnt get it, and pure luck wont do it against the boks. i dont think he was that flashy myself.

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...
