I seem to recall in the ARC game here in Perth, Horwill was yellow carded for dirty play..So, i dont think he is any better than the saffas.!! The difference is, the saffas know how to do it without the ref seeing..!!!

According to the QLD press since he became captain of the Reds he has gained shiteloads of maturity and doesn't do those kind of things anymore.

Its Rugby I expect a bit of rough play but anything that intentionally causes physical harm to another player is not on in my books. Especially when it involves their neck or eyes.

I am not condoning any dirty play at all. i am merely stating that the saffas are always being labeled dirty, when the aussies, kiwis poms, french argentinians etc are also dirty, but it is never highlighted as much as when the saffas do it.Bakkies has a bad reputation cos he plays a hard game and the press and the uneducated thrive on a bit of slagging. The ref and touchies are trained professionals, and know what is deemed as dangerous etc.There is also the judiciary after the game, so, let them do their jobs, and lets all just enjoy the great spectacle that is rugby, without looking to point the finger all the time...
