Vincent mayor Nick Catania has made an audacious bid to lure West Coast to Medibank Stadium, formerly Leederville Oval, in a $40 million proposal to build a new home base when Subiaco Oval is demolished.

The proposal, one of about four still being considered by the Eagles, has pushed Leederville alongside Claremont Oval as a likely site for a stateof-the-art training base, administration, retail outlet and possibly even a social club from 2011, when building is due to start on the $1.1 billion stadium at Kitchener Park.

unnamed sauces have linked West Coast with a move to Auckland in New Zealand. Upon being questioned about any move, West Coast coach John Worsfold hinted at a possible move by saying "now we're losing no one cares about us, so we might as well move somewhere where no one will care about us at all". Also hinting at a possible move is Worsfold putting his Chemist up for sale, and a notable downturn in activity in the back shed's of several players. Organised crime detectives and police statewide were disappointed by the move stating that they would "be bored shitless", with one high ranking officer stating "the fremantle dockers just aren't that interesting to us, or anyone in the state for that matter". No one at West Coast headquarters was will comment officially, but an unnamed sauce was quoted as saying "we may be looking to extend our brand and set up key distribution networks overseas". He refused to comment further after being questioned about distribution and logistics.
