That effort was repeated at the Carbon Sports Bar. But I think maybe it was the order in which they were sung - we didn't want to be outdone!

One thing that I did notice was the number of AB supporters who were OK with the result and willing to shake hands and say well done. They just enjoyed a great contest. Maybe a lot of your countrymen are not becoming apathetic towards Rugby after some disappointments at RWC time. Just coming to realise that it is only a game after all and enjoyable regardless of who wins.

    I certainly hope so Shasta.

Front page of the local daily today "Canterbury Fans Cheers Deans".
And a quote from a punter, "It was a weird feeling not supporting the All Blacks but I think it shows the union what a mistake they made letting Rob go".
I think that pretty much sums up the feeling here.

I know i'm being picky but even the Haka wasn't performed like it is used to, except for leader of the pack "ali williams".

I remember when Tana and Co were all together everyone would bend there back and put a bit of "pleasure" into there performance. Is it that i've gone soft or it is the ABs gone a bit "cream puffy" doing the haka ?

You're not going soft, it's just that this YouTube - Handbag Haka is stuck in your mind

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
