According to the WAEC the Johnny rules don't apply, you have 8 days after writs are issued.

Pfft, you're worse than Hitler, I was registered when I was 17.

I am thinking I might vote Labor, every election I have voted the party I didn't vote for has won...

You're living in Australia jono. You vote for a party not a President in a state election.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

i dont think either party has a clear view for where they want to take the state.
there is not an effective long term solution to any of the state's problems.
the govt is doing too little too late. or building hospitals for the future that are only just going to be good enough now.
road networks are barley coping with the population.
    schools are overcrowded
regional wa is all but forgotten
our public transport system is complete crap
we dont have enough police, nurses, doctors, teachers, firefighers, ambos, laywers or taxis.

do you want me to edit this post as i think of more? or do you get my point?

the stadium isnt the biggest priority for me.
i the things i mentioned before are higher on mine than a stadium.
it may not appear to be the case, but i do watch the current events of the state and the hospital one is the most important one to me at the moment.

who leaves an elderly lady who is struggling to breathe waiting in emergency for three hours?

That wound up at your age, I can understand the concern about hospitals. You need to get very cynical very quick about politics...just remember, it is all about what is in it for them. Individuals can be saints, committees never are. Groups of people degenerate to the lowest denominator because no-one is responsible. You are going to have to get over it, because the reality is that purged of labels and spin, you wouldn't be able to tell the respective collection of lowlifes, underachievers and failed managers apart. Neither party has historically been any better than the other, just different and we periodically swap to try and average out the respective excesses. Both underestimate and undersell the potential and people of this state, which how we end up in the position where we generate enormous wealth but have little to actually show for it - no thriving cultural centre, no sporting facilities, just very high house prices and the most expensive gas and power in the country. They are both crap, just pick one and move on.
