Most people over 18 shouldn't be allowed to vote, let alone 16 year olds who would vote for someone simply because they 'look like a leader'. (one of my dumbass mates who is 22 said that about Brendan Nelson)

Restricting the vote more is what is needed. I mean look at the audience at the election debate, if that's what our voting population is made up of we may as well give up now.

was running the city to surf this morning in my wallabies jersey. seen Mr Barnett doing the pollie thing waving and slapping us all on(but not running it though... lazy as)

me being the reserved and quiet man i am ran past him and asked him somewhat rudley where our rectangular stadium is. and then got yelled at by my boss who i was running with at the time - seeing as the city to surf was a work do

    Yeah, ummmm thanks jono.

I'm sure that will help present a level headed approach to the stadium issue.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

I am a firm believer that stupid people should not have the right to vote.

But your just stereotyping and generalising by assuming that no one under 18 is well informed enough to cast a proper vote. Granted their are alot of dumb people out there, but as usual the dumb usually get alot more media time then the informed majority. Channel 9 no doubt could have manufactured that debate, both in regards to what they showed and the audience, I didnt see it, but I dont usually base my vote on one TV debate. I make my mind up in the voting booth, and vote for whoever I believe will serve my interests best in Parliament
