Only 6ish hours left of work before half term (I love half terms)... then 9 days of freedom in which I will see 2 or 3 county T20 cricket games, 1 international T20 (the well known cricketing nations of Bangladesh v Netherlands), plus England v Baa Baas at Twickenham! Sweeeeeeeeeeet!

Why wasn't I invited to this!? What happened? The highlanders team or the highlanders irritating bawling supporters with the loud noise making thing?

Umpiring 2 games today in the cold. I love winter so much

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

Good! That duck-thing was well and truly awful. What happened at the thing?

    Oh no....this is special

Cronulla Sutherland in their 40th unsuccesfull year have never tasted succes, never won a premiership, currently sit in 16th of a 16 team competition 1 win and 10 losses (10 straight losses).

They have no sponsors, no money, no fans and no hope.

Defeated tonight by Dragons 26 to 4

    Rest In Peace

(Also seeing the Melbourne Storm lose makes me smile)

“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White

my dad's best friend was diagnosed with lung cancer a couple of months ago and the doctor said on Friday that he only had 24hours....two days later he's still alive and kicking! which makes me smile because nearly everyone has had a chance to see him one last time and also the fact that his sisters don't get in from Malta and South Africa until Tuesday

He also helps out down at Perth-Bayswater...apparently some of the players were going to go see him but they thought it might overexcite him with all those big rugby boys being there

My mate played 300 games for them, sad for him. Goodbye sharks, any further breaches will see Wizard home loans pull out as well. Go west young man, put your sponsorship dollars into a stadium and team over here. Wizard stadium is better than MES.

Why does that make you smile? It's hardly good for League if teams are failing like that...

Robyn, Sharks vs Dragons is the local derby, like WCE vs Freo.... no love lost.
