daylight saving....im all for it, the thing about not getting the kids to sleep because its still light makes me laugh, growing up in scotland at the height of summer it doesn't get dark til 10 o'clock!...

I can't believe the similarity in weather between WA and Scotland.
How did you guys cope with the heat at bedtime.

My rellies lived in Scotland (my Mum is Scotch) and we visited when I was 9. I remember going to the "beach" and getting sunburnt. I think it was 19 or 20 degrees

The only part of summer that I like is that when I get up I don't need torches or lights to avoid fumbling around in the dark, at least for a month or so. Daylight savings means always having to get to work in the bloody dark. Bloody city slickers and their bloody daylight savings.

both sets of my grandparents came from Scotland.They moved from the bleak & freezing highlands to the equally bleak & freezing Dunedin & South Canterbury.

FT, i didn't mention temperature, or how hot it was at bed time i was mearly stating that its still light at 10pm..........daylight saving cant wait!
