Been a bit of movement - think that this is what we have - of course you may know different - please feel free to add so that this can be updated - frankly I'm overwhelmed by the depth - Also wish to know how many we can have in a squad ?

i thought drew was signed on a three year deal like gits, but if he stays til 2010 that will be better. not that he would be allowed to leave!

tatupu is signed til 2008, does anyone know if he is getting another contract or leaving?

IMHO our greatest loss is Jimmy Hilgendorf of those who have left us.
Here's hoping big Pat O'Connor (POC??) can get a full season in, I still rate his debut form.
There's going to be a flurry of activity towards the end of the season, plenty of names coming to renegotiation!

Is Peter Staniforth supposed to be Richard Stanford? On channel 10 Tai mentioned Ben Whittaker (who is 20 or so) as a hooker too.

I think a handful of these guys are senior apprentices still in 2009 (Turner, Longbottom, Haylett-Petty etc) so it'd probably make a round 30 before the marquees. I'm in the process of trawling through all of the Currie Cup and ANZC possibilities to get a bit of an idea who they'll bring in. I have too much time on my hands.

i don't understand clarke's contract at all... so since he was injured his contract was postponed a year and starts with s14 09? thats the message i get, but then he would be player number 35! he sat in my block at subi once, he was lovely. didn't mind my shouting at all, so i tried to shout polietly just for his sake. i thought he was going to be the goods. injuries are stupid!

Cheers for that - are there any other Level 1 Academy players ?

So from that with a marquee signing from South Africa/ New Zealand we have a squad of 32 with the possibility of calling on the Level 1 Academy players.

Speaking of Staniforths, is Nigel still with the academy? His form for Sydney Uni showed he probably had the goods to player S14.
