which ever you feel is more significant...
obviously people like Robinson & Williams will be faster off the mark than Rokocoko or Sivivatu but the sheer exhiliration of a runner burning off his chasers is what im after...

Shane Williams and Jason Robinson definitely fastest off the mark.

But Tonderai Chavanga and Bryan Habana over distance. Rokocoko may have been in contention when he was younger, but injury has driven him down.

I get a bit teary eyed even at the mention of "Z" Ngwenya........ That bit of film has inspired us; especially taken in the context of Z's previous try v. Samoa in 2007...ok, I suck, I don't have a link to it just yet!

tdevil - can you back those claims up with details?

10.2 flat is extra-ordinarily fast. Tonderai Chavanga held his national 100m sprint title up untill 2006 at 10.27
some of the fastest runners in the world (track & field) run 10.3 on a bad day....

not saying youre wrong but ive looked and cant find an stats to indicate how fast he really is, as opposed to Howlett, Habana & Chavhanga.

could probably have a fair crack at a commonwealth games spot with that time.

his brother nathan apparently he goes at around 10.32 or something, but even better he once kicked a dropout which the other team fielded from their own ingoal cant find a video of it anywhere but
    link
Stapleton grabbed the spotlight in the third round of competition when the Sharks faced off against the Melbourne Storm. In the Under 20s match the centre/fullback dropkicked the ball 105m from a line drop out.

“We were having a hard time getting on top, I wanted to get our team in front so I just kicked it as hard as I could to be honest I wasn’t expecting to kick it that far,” Stapleton said. “We got a penalty at the end of that, kicked the goal and levelled the game.”
went about 60 on the fly over their heads and then bounced into their ingoal, was amazing,
