Latest word from Rugby WA this afternoon is that date and time details for fixtures have not been finalised and thay don't think they will be for a little while.

It will be at singapore cricket club
It is run by singapore tourist board , i imagine as an attempt to rival the hong kong sevens. They would have had to pay the clubs an appearance fee to attend. Handy.

Isnt jetstar, british airlines and qantas , one and the same.

    Tues 28th July
    Saracens v Perpignan
    Gloucester v Western Force

    Sat 1st August
    Finals Day

I will be during the trinations and the end of season break for northern hemishphere test side.

So no test players will be going round.

They are showing the game on there planes , which would have been done as part of the deal with the sing. gov to fly them out. hardly a sponsorship.

the tournament is without a main sponsor at this stage.

live broadcasting i can do with laptop!

it may be fun but the tournament will be run at a massive loss.

Dave have you got any positive news to spread about this?

Or do you just do the negative stuff.

You strike me as a glass is empty bloke, rather then the glass half full.

You might want to ease up on the excitement level, you dont want to peak to early.

damn exile that is a great question , i love trying to see things as much as i can as they really are.

but in the case of the story above its just an ad to try to get sponsors on board for the tournament as they have only filled 1 of the 5 slots in terms of naming rights sponsors. Its greening'sbaby and he is trying to spruik the crap out it.

And the problem with promoting a brand-spanking new tournament would be?

So when are going to tell RugbyWA JD or are you going to keep it a secret?

I'm still amazed they are doing this and why isn't there is mix of the old and new order?

New Order - less than 100 years old
    Western Force

Old Order - more than 100 years old
    Saracens
    Gloucester
    Perpignan

    Never mind forget I asked.

nothing gigs but it is a puff piece masquerading as news.

And people are reading it here as though it is news, the opinion of the success it has created is manufactured by the marketing agency that is running the tournament.

I think the majority of people are reading it as an excuse to piss off to singapore to watch Rugby and get on the juice for a week
