Thought Gits showed serious class and O'Connor was a little gun.

Didn't think Sheps was that great. Good ball handling, but didn't do much once he had it. Drew was great as usual.

MOM for backs I'd say was Tatupu.

Drew was fantasmagorical. Well. Noone deserves fantasmagorical after that second half, but it's as close to fantasmagorical as we got. BabyJames should start next week. Pocock had a couple of good steals too

    Sigh. We should have won

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White

Man of the match........surely that goes to Bryce Lawrence.

Brownie gets my vote.....I would have been Bam but he had a big 'penalise me' sign around his neck.

Seriously one penalty right in front of me he made the tackle, steped over and proceeded to reef at the ball for about six goes before the Blues cleanout came at which point he got penalised....I think for offside??????WTF, maybe it should have been hands in the ruck.

Anyway, Brownie played just as well and kept out of the sight of Lawrence.

I liked Giteau's performance and Josh....and Drew, but I just don't think we had enough quality ball out there to give either of them a MOM.

Maybe Valo will help that situation....hope so, Chrisso always looks a helluva lot better playing the 20 minute impact man role.

Are you guys basing this on watching it at Subi?

Brownie gave 100% as usual, he is a quality forward and does what a forward should, so does Pocock.

Man of the match, for the Force yeah Brownie and for the Blues that nuggety little (98KG) half back.

None of the others deserve a look in. Mitchell missed two crucial tackles, lucky Brownie and one other were there to save the day. Sare didn't want the ball, swap him for Cummins. I hope you've seen a replay on TV first before voting. I was crook and watched it on the tele, very different than from 30m away.

No momentum going forward, way to many handling errors, lucky it's only week 1.

AJ would have had a real tough night in there. He doesn't get the credit he deserves from the media. I thought most of the forwards did well, fitness maybe an issue early because alot of the backs Gits especially were being dragged in to protect the ball at the breakdown.

The ref must have been seeing a few things I didn't cause he sure was dishing out free kicks often each time the scrum set.

AJ or Brown for me. huge impact, with the try from AJ (just fabulous) and Brown getting stuck in there causing some havoc for the Blues defence
