    2008:

    Reds 21 - Crusaders 27

    Brumbies 3 - Crusaders 34

I know which one I'd prefer to be.

The Reds will be back, Muddy.

Give them a year or two.

The Reds, Tahs and Brums all look the goods for a few years to me.

I guess that would put the Reds in the participator box and not the contender box…

quite obviously muddy the reds have been craptastic the last 6years, something which i have never steered away from admitting. Im not one for sugercoating the facts and figures, unlike you...

If they want to go let them go. Don't let any of the players hold the Force hostage. I know there are not thousands of top quality players out there but give me 15 committed guys any day! NB committed not committee.
Give Mitch a squad that want to be Wallabies and see what he does over a couple of years.
I certainly hope this whole crock of sh1t gets resoled quickly so we can have some decent rugby this year if we don't I think we may be in a downwards spiral that may be to hard to get out of!

Read that back to yourself: so you are saying that the reality is that we won't steady the ship and come right. That is a huge help, thanks, we'll put you in charge of morale in the bombshelter...

Have to disagree - without any statement we would be in for an endless stream of speculation on Matt Giteau's plans AND all the same pregurgitated crap about who wants to ride his coattails.

Agree, but I would say that it has to be both the coach and administration. If the organisation is going to do this, there has to be a common and clear vision as to what the club is, where it is going and how it is going to get there. As an organisation it is no different from any other, and it is always obvious to the staff when management is unfocused or misaligned. It does not breed confidence and folk will move to gain a sense of certainty and security, often times even if it costs them money.

Frankly I am sick of all the negativity...We more than deserve a team in the West, and if we lock in to those Plonkers in the media that are dragging us down, we will be lowering ourselves to the level.
They didn't want us to get the Franchise, they didn't want us to get Gitz...they have been doing nothing but fuel our possible demise since day one...
Come On everyone, lets keep our heads up, and support our boys...and have faith in the power at Force HQ to keep everything into perspective.....
The Players have to think of themselves, they are one game away of possible injury that could end their careers...but if the only reason they say they want to leave is because "I want to stay playing with Gitz, because we have become good friends.." what crap..perhaps only playing with Gitz makes their overall playing ability seem better...????

There are some older players out there close to retirement..can't hang onto them forever...and there are some great youngsters coming through too...
