That's why there wear number 1 on their backs. And they are listed at the top of the team lists (or supposed to be). Coz they come FIRST!

(However, I've been told several times by backs that props get number 1 because they can't count any higher... what does one say back to that!?)

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

It is not the forwards looking at the backs of their jumpers...the low numbers are for the benefit of others, to avoid removal of boots for counting purposes.

Couple of intersting matches this weekend with the Sa teams This one Force vs Sharks and Canes vs Bulls... It will be interesting to see what the SA-ers have got in week 6... Are the Bulls contenders... and is the Sharks winning run truly over...

"A few of the boys are starting to talk to me now, so that's a positive. Everyone has been pretty good and the biggest thing was to make sure everyone felt comfortable about it," he said.
Wonder if this had any effect on last week's game being a huge improvement to previous games, post-announcement?!
