What a great effort by the Force. The steady improvement continues, I am one very proud supporter tonight.

The coverage and the commentary on Foxsports was definately an improvement as well.

Hilgendorf at 10, and Shepherd at 15 was a brilliant move by Mitch and should remain that way for the rest of the season.

It was a shame we got soo close, but I think we are definately rolling on to a win very very soon.

a red haired gent in front of me started that chant off. Then it briefly changed to "Bonus Point!" when the bullocks took the penalty...

and that forward pass that cost us that try.... never was a forward pass.

All in all, a damned good effort and it is looking good for a win in the near future.

i think people are gettin carried away with the last 10minutes - wat bout the whole first half? it was pretty poor

hopefully we can put a full 80mins together and get the stormers this week!!!!

The first half was hardly poor... For the first 15 minutes we had all the play and all the pressure on them. It did turn ugly with that intercept try (which looked to have come from a Bulls knock on at the line out!).

Staniforths second try did look suspiciously like a knock on, but that pass was defiantely backwards, no question. The touch judge needs to have his head read (without watching the replay I wont comment on Honiss but initial thoughts are that he had a decent game). There was a Bulls player throwing punches (and landing them) literally 2 meters in front of him (the touchie), and yet there were no cards given!!!

The boys did play exceptionally well in the second half though and seemed to cut out a lot of the silly mistakes that have plagued them so far this season. Obvious stand out was Hilgendorf at 10, but I thought Richard Brown had another good game at 8, and Josh Graham had a great game at 13. Thats of course not mentioning the workhorses that perform every week, Sharpie (where would we be witout him!), Staniforth and Welborn.

Looking forward to next week, but was extremely dissappointed with the crowd only 23,000 and quite a few members missing!

Credit where credit is due. The second half produced the most exciting rugby of the weekend.....not my words but a reporter. The fans enjoyed it at least everyone I heard and the buzz after the game was great.

If we had played like that earlier in the season we would have won a couple of games by now and there is no doubt about that. I really don't know what other peoples expectations are but mine are being met. I'm a realist with optimism and not a pessimist, I've had to be with following Scotland all of my life, and it's that attitude we need from supporters. I bet we end up with a bigger crowd next Friday and the crowd will be full of very optimistic people, which is what is needed.

I reckon that the Stormers will be looking at that game and thinking that they will have to play well to come away with a result. And, with the way that The Force are now beginning to gel my mood is moving from optimism to a realistic belief that we can win next Friday. No longer a feeling in my water but a genuine belief. I would even be willing to put money on it this week and as you know a Scotsman and his money are not easily parted.

Under the circumstance that sounds like a fair call to me Dramoth, they may well need that bonus point by the end of the season. Perhaps they are more worried about not being relegated than making the Semi's?

i dont know many teams around the world that would have turned down the shot at goal if they were in the exact same circumstance
