I see "Scoop" Grumbles is talking up Barnes' chances of joining the poofy blues. Two days ago he was extolling the virtues of him playing in the star studded 'Tahs backline - including Tuquiri (obviously he hadn't got the advance memo from JO'N) - ignoring the fact that the Reds backline actually now has 5 wallabies of their own.

And in today's Ruck and Maul he says the 'Tahs should hang in there because Barnes is still wavering about staying at the "troubled Reds" - doesn't he love that term? This would be the same team that appears to have only lost 1 player from this year's roster. mmmmm - a side clearly in distress.

All I can say Tic, is thank God he's moved on from bagging the to sharing the bag around a bit........make sure you watch out for repeated quotes of his own reporting of the vaious off field indiscretions, which wil (or possibly not) crop up....he'll use these as evidence of why everybody would be better off at the 'Tahs.

It's a familiar story. I hope Qld haven't broken any player contracting protocols (although with the big name signings this year, they're the last province I'd accuse of bending the rules)
