New South Wales Waratahs back Matt Cararro signs for English club Bath

    July 10, 2009

New South Wales Waratahs back Matt Cararro is leaving Australia to play for English rugby club Bath.

The move pulls the curtain on a five-year stint at Sydney club Randwick for Carraro who moved to the club following two years at Sydney University.

The 24-year-old winger and centre was picked up by the Brumbies Super 14 team in 2007 before switching to the Waratahs in 2008 to play eight games for the NSW side

Ex Brumbies join up at Bath Rugby Cararro and Salvi.... Boks Luke Watson also joins up with ex-Bok Butch James... Bath also boast Olly Brakley and plenty of English caps throughout… Look to be putting an even better squad together for next season…
