    Rugby World Cup Shop Open for Buisness

    I know it's 2 years away but the shop has opened for buisness :

    With two years to go until Rugby World Cup 2011 kicks off in New Zealand, the official online store has been launched.

    The store, which can be accessed through the www.rwcshop.com platform and via the RWC 2011 website is ready to supply fans around the world with an exclusive range of apparel and merchandise from the official Rugby World Cup collection, including the prestigious Webb Ellis Cup and Country collection ranges.

    “Online merchandising is an essential part of the overall licensing programme for any major sports event. The online store was a hugely successful feature of Rugby World Cup 2007 in France, accessed by thousands of fans and the launch of the Rugby World Cup 2011 store is another significant milestone for the tournament," said Rugby World Cup Limited Chairman Bernard Lapasset.

    I see No 8 has his own striped polo shirt in the world cup collection! Prices aren't too bad, the exchange rate is quite good at the moment.

    It may be 2 years to go but never to early to start organising. I have booked my campervan to follow Scotland from Invercargill up to Aukland. You may be surprised to find out that some companies are fully booked already, so if you are going I would start loking at making plans now.

    they're already saying that some hotels are fully booked .....so it looks like they could be bringing in cruise ships as not enough hotels are going to be built due to the financial crisis...
