    What this year particular U16 year? Talent and depth varies each year especially in smaller catchment pools.... I would be more concerned that ACT kids are going to other codes. The AFL has been particularly aggressive in the province…

    What’s good is that WA is producing kids who can compete at state level. These U16s would have been 11 or 12 when the Force started up in WA inspiring kids to play.

    Lets hope in a few years the same goes for VIC.

    And that Rugby Union and League are really the only sports in Canberra and many kids play both in school. WA may be bigger but outside of Perth you can practically forget about Union and in Perth you still have soccer and AFL to compete with.

    Canberra is big on scoccer and AFL in schools. The kids that play both league and rugby are private school kids. Rugby for school and league for district is the mix.
