He has said all along it will take 5 seasons for the team to reach its potential, this season will prove how good he is.

I think it would be a little naive to steadfastly hold him to his "five year" statement without consideration to events since that time.
If all plans had come to pass then fair enough, but with the revolving door of players I would allow 2011 to be the benchmark of judging achievement.
