No matter where JOC plays, he will have his own position in the backline in attack.

Just like at the end of last season, in the second half he pretty much would taker over the first receiver role.

Pretorius-Harris-Cross are all players who play a very similar one dimensional game, Pretorius isnt your ball-player 5/8, his a kicker, and harris and cross arent ball-playing centres either, they are going one direction and thats in a straight line.

Now thats a 10man rugby backline if ive ever seen one, thats fine, but 10man rugby hasnt won S14 rugby ever, 10man rugby takes years of discipline and experience, not exactly suited for the S14.

You add in JOC to that team and he offers a genuine ball playing option, he also adds unpredictability because he has the step.
    Agree with the TOCC
    Harris is a lemon
JOC will play 12 and do plenty of damage
Pretorius is a fine player with every skill in the book. he's also a very dangerous runner of the football which he doesn't get a lot of credit for
Sheehan loves a snipe and plays like a backrower.
    It's a great backrow and a great 9,10,12
We lack strike power out wide.

Cullet needs to have some magic done to get him ready to play earlier than expected.. we will miss him wide for the first few games..

was it round 5 that was being targetted?

I dunno, they cover all the bases you'd want covered, spped and flair, Solid and hard with Dane thrown in for a bit of X factor, I don't have too many problems with it, sure Dane is a fringe player atm and would be pushed out by a quality outside back, but he's good enough, it's outside those three that we struggle for true outside quality. (assuming Shep recovers properly from his injury run)

Based on Shute Shield form I would say yes. But the trails form will decide.

I would hope so, Haig is a true journeyman, Dane has a future ahead of him.

I would probably pick Sare ahead of DHP, i have been left unconvinced by the few performances i have seen by DHP, but then again i havent seen much of him

Giteau and O'Connor are actually very mulit-dimensional players, as in they carry a bit more of a unpredictability to them then what pretorius-harris-cross offer, they can be ball-players, runners and the kicking game.

I'd beg to differ TOCC. By putting J'OC at 12 off Andre will, in a sense, take out some of his unpredictability.

Putting him in at 15 in my view would provide significantly more opportunity to capitalise on his unpredictablility by, as I mentioned earlier, injecting him (or injecting himself) into the attacking backline at any stage in the game.

Now if Giteau was still with the Force, then I wouldn't hesitate to having JO'C at 12 with the two easily and seamlessly interchanging several times during a game.

At the moment, I don't think we have that luxury with Andre at 10, so keep JO'C at 15.
