CHARTER FLIGHT TO WELLINGTON FOR FORCE V HURRICANES

    Stay tuned...

I have a potential weekend away to Wellington at $950 return on a chartered flight.

Leaving on the 20th Feb and returning around 4:00am Monday morning after the Glory final.

    Strictly limited to 65 passengers...

    ---------- Post added at 02:20 ---------- Previous post was at 00:58 ----------

The cost may go up a little bit to keep the plane overnight...

But shouldn't be more than $50 per person.

^ Read above....should have more info come day break...

    Force fans...

I will let you know of the payment details tommorow night (once we know about the final score. The charter flight company will be holding the flight on their company credit card until around Tuesday and Wednesday.

It will be first in best dressed and I will hopefully deliver a website where you can deposit the money.

    $950 return...

The excess funds (non profit trip) will go to a bar tab before the Force game.

This will only go ahead if Perth Glory play a final on the Sunday.

To pay for it email egan@austadiums.com and I will send a request on paypal for you to deposit the $950 return ticket. Alternatively you can submit the funds directly through your own paypal to egan@austadiums.com

Don't send any money until Perth Glory have confirmed their finals spot. Deliver word of mouth at the game tommorow about the possibility. It will be first in best dressed...

We have till Tuesday to confirm the flights, with the company holiding it on their credit card until then.

    Regards Chris Egan

    ---------- Post added at 07:30 ---------- Previous post was at 03:57 ----------

Flight will be a direct 8 hr flight to Wellington...

Will have all the details by tonight...

Why does a trip NZ for Rugby game depend on when the Glory play a possible final? Have I missed something here?

My take on it is if the standings don't change this weekend (final round) then Perth will be playing Wellington in Wellington on the 21st in the Semi Finals.
It would seem that there aren't enough Glory fans to make up the 65 seats so the offer is expanding to Force supporters.
Sounds pretty good actually, don't know how the dollars stack up but would be a great weekend, especially with a couple of wins!
Not too often (ever again?) that the two fixtures would line up to present the opportunity.

Egan, my understanding is that you only pay for charter flights when they are in the air, so it shouldn't matter much if they have to sit down overnight, should actually limit flying hours for the pilot and just have to cover accom.

    That makes sense

Glory will beat Brisbane, a draw is not good enough for them to leap frog the Phoenix. BUt then we need the Mariners at least pinch a point off of the Phoenix.

If I were organised person I would be up for a trip like that!!

    Hi guys

If anybody is interested email me on egan@austadiums.com

This is a direct flight going Perth - Wellington, Wellington - Perth. No commercial airlines fly the route.

I am opening it up to Force and Glory supporters as it makes sense to get as many bums on seats as possible.

We should get mostly Glory fans on this trip...
