to be fair im with bunter on this one , i know its only game one, but there were a few players out there tonight that were well short of S14 standard, as for so many injuries so early in the season , you have to look at the pre-season training and the strength and conditioning coaching, weve entered one of the hardest competitions in rugby without a recognised hooker.... FFS!! what is going on with our recruitment programme?....in saying that couldn't fault 6,7,8, hogo, bam, and brownie....

I don't think it's as simple as 'they didn't gel', Tatupu is just a turnstyle with frizzy hair. Mitchell may aswell just put a kid/academy player at 12 since there is no way they could tackle any worse.

Cummins is the main thing here, if he were in the team/fit you could move DHP to fullback which frees up O'Connor for the inside backs.

The bloke is a Sevens superstar! And if you want to move O'Connor to the inside backs who else could you put at fullback? You sure as hell can't put Harry or Sare there.

I sure hope not -it was more of a question. Hopefully Sheps's quad strain is not major. I haven't heard anything about Brown, though.
