Huge hail at my place, both cars got dents in roof and bonnet. Sounds like some people had worse though

Elec just back on - took kids to McD's for dinner - only drive through open - we were followed by 6 kids on push bikes - really quite amusing, no hail here but heaps of water at least 6cm extra in the pool

Here insurance covers it but they send out a "Dent Wizard" who pops out the dents one by one. Takes them about 5-8 hours or longer because there's usually hundreds of them in a car. Golf ball size or bigger hail may make dents too big to pop out.

Sorry to hear about all the damage - we seemed to have missed the hail, thank goodness.

That was insane. The sky was GREEN! I've never seen a green sky before. I thought I was seeing things, but it got worse.

Really? I know (now) that it's associated with severe weather, and might have something to do with the amount of water.
We got some very hard rain, but I don't think it was hail.
