The Canes wanted to win and the Brumbies thought they could win because they look good on paper.

Give credit where credit is due the Canes kept on trying right through the game where as the Brumbies were hoping the Canes will go and lie down in the second half.

It was a woeful performance by the Brumbies. And as Peter said Gits was not in great form and his kicking was what we have come to expect.

The funniest thing was the commentators.....they are such a bunch of wankers!!!!!

Fair comments all, they haven't had one convincing game in 2010. Too many individuals playing for themselves I think, basic skills and enthusiasm is poor, too many chiefs in that team pulling in different directions.
I think they may only win one more for the season , A. Friend must feel very vunerable with his underperforming star studded lineup.

He scored, so I guess he'll say the team did well and struggled in trying conditions against a wily and unpredictable foe. As long as we can keep to our structures and have confidence in the gameplan (give it to Gits and he will win the game for us) it'll click in time.

I wonder how long his contract is, because it could be a long wait for that gameplan to click!

There's big underlying problems in the 'stable', leadership,control ,big overated reputations and a lack of confidence in and within the playing group will see their on field performance problems continue.The injuries excuse is a crock , with the amount of possession they get with the players at their disposal they should be playing much better as a unit.
The off season will be too long for the surviving players, let alone the coach.

How ruthlessly absurd is it that some players went to the ACT (well Elsom really) instead of Queensland because they thought they would have a better chance at winning a title? Now Queensland is in the box seat for a finals appearance and the ACT has pretty much just played themselves out of the race.

They jumped straight off the Brumbies for the 2010 crown bandwagon and straight onto the Reds probably won't win a game but shit their playing well maybe we were wrong bandwagon.
