Ask not what the club can do for us....

RWA Supremo, Mitch Hardy was recently quoted as saying "Things are a bit tight" in relation to the funds needed for getting and retaining blokes. I am sure we can all appreciate that post the GFC. I personally have had to cut back my Champagne intake to just four bottles a week.

This got me thinking after a few of you had been discussing what you we can do personally to keep Spanner where he belongs, favourites included designing him a water treatment plant, baby sitting services and butchering, that we could all offer our indvidual skills or services to players that might just be on the cusp of resigning or signing?

    A sweetener if you will....

So the question is, what can YOU offer the likes of Spanner and perhaps QC? And would you actually do it?

Once we have a reasonable amount of pledges in, the list will be forwarded to Mitch Hardy.

I could brew them some beer. That amounts to about what $4 worth of 3rd party payments.

I would stop flying over for every home game. It might send Qantas and the WA economy broke, but it would at least guarantee that every game played at MES is a win.

    Who am I kidding. No I wouldn't

Not much call for scarves I think....I wore mine to the Force game at ME for the very first time last week....maybe a cushion would be better, then he could use it while I am driving him a round .....

I am not having a crack, but if Mitch Hardy was sitting down at the negotiating table with Quade Cooper and said we will give you $800,000 a season plus we will throw in a hand knitted scarf. Do you really think that would sway him? Maybe hand knitted scarves for his whole family and friends, now thats talking!

    Keep the pledges rolling in!

    So far we can offer......

    A better designed away strip
    Executive chauffeur services
A waste water treatment plant and a lulliby sung to a nominated person
    A hand knitted scarf
    A gold star outside MES
    Some boutique home brew
A person offering to send Qantas broke......

I think we have to up the ante fellas! The Reds could easily top that! Where is our resident vet offering his 'services' free?

I can give them a few weeks mustering work a year, unfortunately for them it tends to be usually in the middle of Test season so they would need to forgo National duties.

Could be a great fuel saver, too Burgs. Browny, Hodgo and Bam could round 'em up on foot.
