So SA did get a sixth team, the Away Stormers...
I think it is shite and 60% of Herald Sun online readers agree.
Agreed beige, nothing wrong with the style of the Rebels jersey.
    Love doobies comment though
Perhaps they could progressively get gold stars for every 25 matches they play.

Geez I'm glad they put five stars on it to make it unique.

BTW Rod, the stars DON'T all have different points, the second and third biggest both have seven (I noticed the different points thing in the first bit of promo where I saw the stars and checked then.......)

This will be the token first jersey to get a billion and a half sold and then they'll respond to supporter groups pressure and change it to something more reasonable.

But I agree with most others RE: colour, Navy blue has been Victoria since noah was a lad, the only opportunity to change would be the way the Force did it, never actually have it in the first place (and you saw the stink that created) how do you think they'd manage to move away from the state colour now?

I still can't believe the Force did not go with traditional WA Gold for the home strip

In Perth, where the state's colours are black and gold, and where the national rugby team plays in gold?

I'm more prepared to believe that it simply didn't occur to them at the time. (Always more prepared to believe incompetence rather than conspiracy!)

Well if the Wallabies play in gold, Rugby WA probably figured they'd sell less jerseys because people could just wear those to the games...

I was under the impression they were trying to get community involvement in the whole thing (ie team colours and so forth), REY!

i never said it was a consipiracy, its pure marketing logic, blue is a more marketable color then yellow, i even remember it at the time because Peter O’Meara said he was happy just to take the jersey design from St Laurences College(gold and black), the college himself and Brendan Cannon attended, but the board went a different direction for marketing reasons.

Is Mortlock actually wearing the jersey - it looks like its photo-shopped on or something!
