Most greens are chocolates TQ1 so technically we're in agreement. I take your point though & we may well adjust the party manifesto. We'll invite 1000 of the best minds in Australia to form a working forum to discuss and debate the issue and then take it to a world seminar in a land far far away, promising to come home with a result, but in all likelyhood coming home with our tail between our legs. This is one of the better labor policies we've borrowed

PS- we can be environmentally responsible by using the leftover chocolate in the tittie bars. I don't think we'll need 1000 best minds to figure that one out......

Good point Burgs- was never good at politics. As Billy Connolly once said- anyone with the desire to get into politics should not be allowed to get into politics.

Having said that, do you see where I'm going with the tittie bar per suburb policy- WASP/ Sex party alliance. Now how good would that be

Your party certainly has some attractive aspects
Just not sure we would have the critical mass to maintain quality control over said bars?
May have to increase workplace visa allocations to cope.

my wish is that one day a party/politician will come along and actually promote their policies and ideals rather than try dragging their opposition through the mud and try to demonise their policies/ ideoligy/ sexual preferences/ religious orientation...

not during my time im sure......

    Mugabe does that doesn't he?

Promotes his own policies and doesn't demonise anyone.

    He just has them killed.

    Election update

Most people in the world wouldn't waste the opportunity to have a say in the running of the country. The ignorance of Australians towards politics is mystifying. The apathy of Australians towards politics is disturbing

No country in the world that has the right to vote would put up with the incompetence of the Rudd/Gillard debacle of the last 3 years

Fuel watch. Wasted millions of tax payers money. Big white elephant. failed

Grocery watch. Wasted millions of tax payers money. Big white elephant. failed

The education revolution. Wasted billions of dollars on school halls including halls in schools that are closing down. The scheme was rorted by the building industry who gouged ridiculous profits from an incompetent government who had no clue how to obtain estimates and employ competent construction managers to run on time on budget. the whole program is fundamentally flawed when most schools are deficient in equipment, computers, teachers, class rooms. It's a gigantic and colossal clusterf--k. The money wasted on a misdirected spending spree will ensure there is no money left to be spent on education for a decadeor more.

Home insulation debacle. Billions of tax payers money wasted on a ridiculous program where every cowboy in the land was able to register as a home insulation specialist. the competent industry performers went broke or laid off staff as cheaper incompetents undercut their services by employing untrained lay people who set about electricuting themselves and burning peoples houses down. This is a disgrace. Now the tax payer must fork out millions more dollars to have this debacle corrected.

The worst government in the history of Australia then knifed its own leader in his first elected term. the tax payer now has to carry that bozo for the rest of his life at a salary of approximately $600K + 15% superannuation indexed with inflation for the rest of his natural life as well as all the perks he gouges from the tax payer in his local electorate. Now the tax payer will have to support two worthless pieces of flotsam if Gillard is axed.

Gillard has run her election campaign along the same lines as her University politics days where she was elected University President after a food fight in the cafeteria.

None of thes eleft wing deadsh1ts have ever run a business, have had to manage a budget or have the slightest clue what a Profit and Loss statement is.

they intend to spend 43 billion dollars of tax payers money on a broadband project which will be obsolete by the time they have finished the blueprint. they have no business plan for it's construction or operation and seem to be ignorant that the future suggest a wireless service is the more likely technology to develop.

    Clueless morons

They inherited a massive budget surplus and have been on a recklessspendathion that lect Australia on the brink of bankruptcy with a massive budget deficit running into the tens of billions of dollars.

In order to addess their massive f--kup, they decided to rape the mining industry and kill our econmy with a resources tax on top of the 30% company tax and mining royalties they already pay the states as well as a payroll tax which is nothing more than a tax on business for employing people. they also decided to hit business with an increase from 9-12 % superannuation.

    It's a farking circus.

There is no decision to be made.

    This government has to go.

This is the worst government in the history of Australia.

    Neck up. Vote them out
