True. It wasn't Sharp's fault his front row gave away a needless penalty. I guess there is just as much chance of the front row stuffing up the line out as well

Our first 3 re-starts were shocking. Cooper was deadly accurate 3 times in a row and 3 times in a row we gave them position.

The Ref.??? How he did not ping Saai Fangiaa in the fisrt ruck coming in from the side I have no Idea. How he thought Rabbit could kick a grubber at a re-start and call it a punt? Even though Brownie caught it inside 10m.

The day at 34 degrees and 4000 % humidity, the boys in front of 27,000 feral Queensland supporters - sensational...for a first up game, i take my hat off to Richard Graham and especially Blakie for a superbly defensive effort.

He wasn't on for long but when he was on he conceded a silly penalty from a Reds line-out and lost one of our own throws. I don't remember seeing him do much else.

Overall a good if not frustrating start for the Force - The much raved about Queensland scrum was nullified but a far fitter and well drilled pack - a big thumbs up to Styles for his pre season work. Why though did they take Whitaker and Sheean off when things were clicking along nicely?

The centers did not look too promising with very little ball getting out wide though poor execution and with Cummins and Smith looking sharp from what ball they saw it was a shame that they did not get more. I have never been a great fan of Nick the Mullet but I will have to change my mind if he keeps this up. He is looking the goods.

It is good to see cullet involved a lot more, he has always been there, just never seemed to have much action. Same way that smith (i thought) was fairly quiet in the overall game.

love to see cummins have a blinder.

    Mullet?

I don't think that is a mullet that Cummins sports. It is more a 1980s Kylie Minogue, which is why I have been calling him Kylie for some time now .... but only when he can't tell its me saying it!
