    WHITTAKER TO STAY IN WA

Emirates Western Force hooker Ben Whittaker has pledged his future to the club through until at least the end of the 2013 season and added to a positive few days of re-signings at the Perth based club, joining team mates Nick Cummins and Sam Wykes who announced contract extensions earlier in the week.

Great news. It is probably a good thing for us that the Brumbies are having coach dramas and the Reds aren't pulling off the same class of rugby they did last year.

Having these younger players committing is a good sign, if the new coaching staff were going to be a worry, the players would take longer to make their decisions. I don't know which superstars we're negotiating with and I expect them to take a lot longer to consider their options, but I'm getting increased confidence that they won't be chased away by the change in coaching team.

Richard Graham is a really nice guy. He also seems pretty clued in with the tactics he chose against the Reds.

...and the Rebels sucked on debut (when the real sub conscious decisions would have been being made) and the Tahs are full...

This is great news, when I see this fella in action I think Smit, Kearns and Fitzpatrick.
I think he is the real deal and will go a long way.

    Good on you Ben
