Gregan was a whining little b1tch and annoyed the refs so much it cost us in penalties awarded........I remember Jerry Collins leaning over the top of a ruck and stealing it from Gregan whilst he was whining to the ref.......and 25 seconds later the Blicks scored a match winning try in the corner.

Come on Wallabies supporters - keep talking Rocky up so he can captain the RWC team.. it would be great for everyone else.. I cant believe that most people think he played a great game with mongrel... 1 line break, 4 missed tackles, 7 runs... 6 of which made 8m in total... too slow of the scrum. Not the stats for a world class flanker.

You can't reliably judge someone's play based on their stats. But if you did, Rocky was good compared to his opposite, Danie Rossouw:

The week before, against Jerome Kaino, the only glaring difference was a couple of missed tackles.

But then there are things that the stats don't pick up. Perhaps the enthusiasm Elsom showed (particularly in the tackles on Habana and Botha) helped to lift the team. He wasn't as bad as John Smit either.
