    Senior Competition Grand Finals Information

The KWIK Senior Grand Finals will be held on Saturday, 3 September and Sunday, 4 September at McGillivray Oval, Mt Claremont.

    Venue:

The venue will be fenced off and strictly no alcohol will be permitted to enter the ground. Food and alcohol is available for purchase from the UWA Rugby Club.

The hill will be used for viewing and temporary seating will also be in place on the Eastern side of the ground.

Gates for non-players will be open from 7.30am on both days.

    Entry Fee:

Entry to the ground will be $5.00 on both Saturday and Sunday. Each team participating will be given 35 tickets to distribute to their players and support staff. These tickets will be delivered to clubs by Thursday prior to training. They must be produced at the gate or the $5.00 fee will apply. Children will be free of charge.

All eskies and bags will be checked prior to entry, and intoxicated people will be refused entry to the ground.

    Parking:

Parking will at times be very difficult and we ask for everyone’s patience. A gold coin donation will be collected by members of the UWA Rugby Club and this money will go directly to Emirates Western Force player, David Pocock’s charity Eighty Twenty Vision.

Buses will need to enter via Stephenson Ave (Challenge Stadium entrance) and drop off near the entrance to the UWA Rugby Club car park. Buses must stay on the road (they are not permitted in the car park) and exit via Brockway Road.

Cars will need to enter from Brockway Road. UWA Rugby Club volunteers will be on hand to direct all cars to allocated parking spots.

    Alcohol:

Alcohol can be purchased from various bars around the ground. As the venue will be enclosed, the entire venue is licensed therefore drinking can occur within the confines of the fenced area. Rugby is a family friendly sport and we ask all clubs to remind their members about drinking responsibly and acting accordingly in front of families.

Intoxicated people will be refused service and security will be on hand to deal with any individuals who choose to act in an anti-social way. Once again, we ask all clubs to be responsible for their members.

    Food and Beverage:

The UWA Rugby Club will have various food outlets within the venue selling an array of food, soft drinks, sports drinks, water and coffee.

    Toilets:

Extra toilets have been hired. We ask that if you see a problem with these, you immediately inform a RugbyWA representative or a member of the UWA Rugby Club.

    Wet Weather:

In the unlikely event of rain, all games will still go ahead. Spectators should note that there is no under cover viewing areas so please bring umbrellas and suitable clothing just in case.

    Smoking:

The venue will be smoke free. Those who wish to smoke will be given a pass out and will need to leave the fenced off venue.

    ATM:

The UWA Rugby Club does have an EFTPOS facility, however it is strongly recommended that all spectators bring to the ground any money you may need.

    Dogs:

For the comfort of all spectators, dogs and any other pets will not be permitted inside the venue.

    Security Guards:

RugbyWA have hired a private security company to ensure that all spectators are able to comfortably enjoy the Grand Final atmosphere. They will be constantly moving through the crowd so if an individual or a group is adversely effecting your enjoyment on the day, please approach the security staff with your concerns.

Hey Coach - any word on whether anyone will 'stream' the final on the net?
