They should factor this game in for the members, when you pay for your membership the lions game is included,(not for free!), the game should be held at a jam packed nib stadium, not a half full subiaco.....

I like the sound of that or at least have an option for members that want to attend. Unfortunately the bottom line will always be the important factor so Subi will win out, not just with travelling supporters as there plenty of local Poms, Irish etc etc. But I definitely agree the game SHOULD be at NiB. Especially given the Force's record at Subi

Hopefully we get something as intense as the 2001 Brumbies - Lions match.

Yep... it will be great... Force will get them off the plane which is good... all super provinces get a match except the Tahs I think... Lions always bring a great ground force, great for local businesses..

Mr Barnett should look at the tourism potential here, and still look us in the eye and say we don't need a stadium...PLONKER!!!

Question is, who gets the money - are the provinces playing for the benefit of the ARU, or do they get a windfall?

Thats a very good question because if it is for each province and not the ARU then its a big crock- Sydney and Brisbane get a Saturday game and the rest of us have to scrape it together midweek. I'm sure that isn't the case or an almighty fuss would have been kicked up. I'd wager the ARU is paying each club the same 'appearance' fee.

I've had grand plans for the last two RWC's that never eventuated, but I'd like to believe for awhile at least that I might follow this tour as a holiday around each match.

I'll be back in Perth for the force game. And then will have tickets to Brisbane as well at a minimum
