I think re-introducing rucking would certainly make the game more free flowing, but guys are a lot bigger, stronger and heavier these days, so I'd imagine you would get some pretty nasty track marks! Also I play in the backs and we don't like that kind of thing.

Might be a bit of an issue on the boundary between rucking and stomping.

I remember an animal of a prop teaching me how to ruck someone who wouldn't roll away. Dead set he was drooling as he was doing it.

Hell, my dad was an outside centre and even he once told me that "if someone's head's there that's not supposed to be there then you need to get rid of it."

    Try - 5
    Conversion - 2
    Penalty - 2
    Drop Goal - 1.

As Broken record - sorry gunny......said earlier, the refs need to flash more cards in the red zone to stop teams giving up 2 pts to stop a try., even if it means 15 on 12, 13 or 14.

If refs don't dish out yellow cards then bring back rucking, Ritchie will roll away very quickly if he looks up to see a size 18 Bakkies Botha boot descending on him. Just eliminate the sharpening of the metal studs.

Maybe need an "orange card" for a 5 minute sin bin to encourage more usage?

Rucking doesn't need re-introducing or bringing back. Rucking is allowed.

When one rucks, one rucks the ball.

One may ruck a player with the ball, but the sole of one's boot must be vertical.

Ruck away, players, just ruck near the ball. And sprigs not down.
