Jordan Rapana and Will Tupou were there. Neither really stood out in the kind of way that Stanley did but then again the drills didn't really offer much opportunity in that department. Jordan Rapana has a pretty distinctive face but I only know Tupou because Woody was talking to him and calling him Will. The guy is huge though. Jordan is less big ~95kg vs Tupou's 105kg. It would have been good to see a few sprints to see if Tupou has the gas to match the frame.

Did Turner train - and if so, was he stretching out?

Cameron Shepherd and Phoenix Battye were at a secret venue with the kicking coach.

Phoenix Battye was at training. It is pretty hard to miss the guy.

He was there but didn't really do too much. He didn't share the scrum half training duties with Sheehan.

So with Ripia gone who do get to replace him or do we have enough coverage at 10 and we get another position player?

shopping for a number 10 I say, nice to see the likes of "James Hook or Felipe Contepomi" in the flyhalf position for a season, plus develop Chucky as a backup ready for the 2013 season.

A nice wish list Benny however unlikely it may be

Hook is on shedloads of money at Perpignan only in the first of a 3 year contract so unless you have money to burn i doubt you'll tempt him down under.

Contepomi is certainly not the player he once was for Leinster, and to be fair at almost 35 it's not surprising he seems prone to injury at the mere thought of a collision. I think he probably is almost at the end of his contract with Stade Francais and the lack of HCup Rugby that Stade have provided in the past two seasons might be enough to see him tempted for a final season finale in the Perth sunshine...a big salary and high risk of injury would rule him out with most franchises.

Ripia was a foreign development player. We will only be able to get a player who has not represented their national team or an Australian eligible player.

I wonder if Mark Bartholomeusz is still in Perth.

Very easy on the eye though.....one for the girls....He'll do if we can't find another for the time being...being purely selfish...OH! but seriously he would be good to look at on the bench maybe..LOL!!!
