Beating the Bulls In Pretoria after getting carved in the opening onslaught was my 'Force highpoint"......if I get my year right (which my Alzheimers may cloud).....the Bulls also won the title that year.

A win over the saders was gold also

beating the Highlanders last year in the deep south of sheep land after those winkers had criticised the Oz conference was the best "get that right up ya" moment

    ..........for what it is worth

    2012 comes down to mindset.

i always reckon a champion team perfroms better than a team of champions. If they get the mindset that nobody is crossing their line and they walk the talk, they can do OK

The problem for mine is the coaching........the skill sets and game plans are sub standard

The other problem may be scoring points. The backline looks ordinary on paper.

Having a massive go is what the Force was built on. Every season "Neville Nobodies" become stars.

Rex is a true believer. We'll kick @rse

The "Neville nobodies" effect is actually the reason I still have a shred of confidence in our backline. Since 2007 we've had an up himself superstar princess mincing out onto the ground knowing that his massive salary and immense third party payments keep him on the field and pay his mortgage. This year we have a bunch of no-names who need to play good rugby to keep their contract. Every back we've got owes the force a bunch just for remaining selected.

Our marquee signing is coming back from the wilderness, and depending who you read nobody else was going to touch him. Our biggest other name in the backline would either be Shep (mr HBF) and Cullett (behind a queue of young wingers)

These blokes HAVE to play as a team, and when the Force have been put in situations like that before, the story has been more good than bad.
